April Pie

Welcome to Great Wilderness, and thanks for visiting. The hope is that this will become a reliable resource for you to find new, smaller artists from around the globe. Three cheers for  incredible songwriters and bands from obscure parts of the world! Most postings will have individual songs available for download, but a nice, sunny mix that I so cleverly named April Pie, is an excellent way to start off.

A couple not to miss would be Jenny Björkqvist of Sweden with "Heal Your Wounds".  Intricate and clap-inducing, this song is a sparkling gem, and seemingly a pioneer in melodies. Team Me, from Oslo, Norway also stands out with addictingly riotous gang vocals in their song "Weathervanes and Chemicals".
